Features

Everything a pharmacy does each day

From wholesaler to patient, every box stays traceable, every prescription recorded and every dinar tracked.

Lightning-fast counter

Search by INN, brand name, barcode or DataMatrix; generics with the same INN and strength suggested when out of stock; several sales on hold; allergy and duplicate-treatment alerts.

CNAS / CASNOS third-party payment

Reference tariff, 80% or 100% rate, per-prescription ceiling and exempt age as settings, patient co-payment; the insurer's share never goes into the patient's debt.

Claims, rejections, payments

Claims per insurer and period, sales accepted or rejected with the reason, partial payments credited to treasury, receivables to collect.

Prescription book and psychotropics

Every prescription numbered with its prescriber; the poisons register kept automatically (entries, exits, reversals), printable for inspection.

Official drug list

The national list from the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry (miph.gov.dz), checked every month; product cards filled in one click; withdrawn products flagged.

Batches and expiry dates

Automatic FEFO picking, expiry alerts, batches blocked on recall, expired-products report for returns; box DataMatrix read at reception (batch and expiry).

Purchasing from wholesalers

Order suggestions from minimum stock and sales, delivery notes received with batches, supplier due dates and balances.

Dosage labels

One label per box, in French and Arabic, on rolls (60 × 40 mm and other sizes) or A4 adhesive sheets.

On-duty pharmacies

Opening hours and duty shifts (night, weekend, public holiday) published in the catalogue: patients find an open pharmacy in their wilaya and municipality.

Printing

58 and 80 mm receipts with insurer share and co-payment, invoices, payment certificates, prescription book, register, claims, stock sheets, expiry report.

Treasury and credit

Cash registers, safes and bank accounts with internal transfers, cash closing, patient credit with limits, company agreements.

Security and roles

Owner, manager, seller, trainee: each sees and does only what concerns them; audit log; protected health data, encrypted backups.

Third-party payment

The CNAS share computed at the counter, the claim in one click

The patient pays only their share; the insurer's share is tracked until it is paid.

  1. At the counter: pick the patient (insured or dependant), the insurer and the rate; the insurer share and co-payment appear at once.
  2. Above the per-prescription ceiling (5,000 DA, adjustable), a non-chronic insured under 75 needs an approval number or a capped share.
  3. At the end of the period: the CNAS or CASNOS claim is created in one click, printed and exported.
  4. When the insurer replies: sales accepted or rejected, payments recorded, receivables up to date.

Reading the CHIFA card, updating rights and e-invoice transmission go through CNAS systems: they will be connected once the software is approved.

Without Internet

The pharmacy keeps working when Internet goes down

Officine-DZ is installed on the pharmacy's main PC; the other workstations and tablets connect to it over the local network.

  1. A Windows installer sets up the server, the database, backups and the local-network firewall rule.
  2. Counters, the owner's desk and the reception desk sell, print and receive orders, with or without Internet.
  3. Every night an encrypted backup; when Internet is back, a copy goes to the COMPOS cloud.
  4. The owner follows the activity remotely, on their phone, from that copy.

Workstations and tablets connect through the browser: nothing to install on each one.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

Do I need Internet to sell?

No: the server is installed in the pharmacy and workstations connect over the local network. Internet is only used for the cloud copy, the drug list and updates.

Is CHIFA third-party payment supported?

The calculation (reference tariff, rate, ceiling), claims, rejections and payments are in place. CHIFA card reading and e-invoice transmission require CNAS approval: they will be enabled as soon as it is granted.

Where does the list of medicines come from?

From the national list published by the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry, checked every month. Retail prices and reference tariffs come from your purchases and a file import.

Is the psychotropic register kept automatically?

Yes: every entry at reception and every exit at sale is written, numbered without gaps; a cancellation adds a reversing entry, nothing is ever edited.

How many workstations can I connect?

As many as your local network allows: counters, owner's desk, reception desk and tablets, with different roles (owner, manager, seller, trainee).

Can I use it in Arabic?

Yes: the whole application is in French and Arabic (right-to-left), and dosage labels can carry both languages.

Is my data protected?

It stays in the pharmacy, on the server PC; backups are encrypted and the audit log records sensitive operations.

How does installation work?

COMPOS installs the server, imports your data if needed (products, stock, patients) and trains your team. Write to us through the form or on WhatsApp.
